Happy Spring, friends!
Welcome to my first newsletter! Read on for discount opportunities and more.

We’re entering my absolute favorite time of the year right now—the weather is glorious and not too hot, I can smell the heavenly scent of blooming jasmine wafting down my street, and I get to start fantasizing about the adventures that spring and summer will bring. I hope you’re doing the same, and that the next few months are full of possibilities and excitement for you too! So far, I’m looking forward to going to the second weekend of Jazz Fest (courtesy of an amazing client), then I’ll be jetting off to Portugal (the Azores and Lisbon) with my best friend in June, then she and I are being whisked away on a cruise to the Caribbean by another lovely client in July.
Even with all of that planned, I’m always looking to get more travel on my schedule! My May is wide open, and I’d love to add some Fly Me to You (or Fly me WITH You) dates to it, or to the rest of the summer (please help me escape the New Orleans heat!) To that end, I’m offering discounted rates on FMTY/FMWY dates for newsletter subscribers until September. If you’ve wondered what it’d be like to have me in your city (or, ahem, your bed…) or travel with me by your side, now is your chance to find out!
Here are some places I’ve been dying to visit/revisit:
Chicago
Seattle
“Out west,” i.e. Wyoming, Montana, etc.
Austin
Anywhere with a good beach
San Francisco/Oakland
Santa Fe
New Orleans friends for whom travel isn’t on the horizon, I have something for you too! Until June 1st, I’m offering newsletter subscribers discounts on longer dates that involve some kind of cultural activity (festival, museum visit, concert, etc.) or a meal at a nice restaurant.
Here’s how this breaks down:
$100 off 3 hours
$150 off 4 hours
$200 off 5+ hours
$500 off overnights
Inside Eden
I’m thinking that I’ll devote a section of my newsletter each month to some random musings I’ve had lately, to hopefully give y’all some more personal insight into who I am and what goes on inside my mind. I was in Ojai last month (a small hippie town north of LA full of crystal shops, yoga studios, and organic produce), and I got the chance to go to an amazing place called Meditation Mount, which is a center for mindfulness and meditation built on a mountain with stunning views out over the Ojai Valley. While I was there, I got to experience a sound bath, and then I hiked on my own around the property, wrapped in the rustic blanket I borrowed from my rented RV, taking in the views and thinking that I’d be adding the mountains of California to my mental registry of “happy places” where I feel most at peace and like myself.
This got me thinking about the concept of happy places more generally, and how important it is to seek them out for myself whenever the opportunity arises. New Orleans in spring is a happy place for me, and I came up with some others too:
Embracing my inner child by frolicking around in nature (with or without the help of magic mushrooms), sunbathing in soft grass, getting my feet stuck in the mud, and finding amazing little natural wonders to look at (the last time I did this, my friend and I found snails the size of grains of rice)
Getting dolled up in a pretty dress, feeling heads turn as I walk into a beautifully decorated bar or restaurant, then sitting and flirting over delicious shared plates and cocktails (my favorites lately have been anything similar to tuna crudo, and espresso martinis, respectively)
Soaking in a perfectly warm tub with a scented candle (lately I’ve been loving Maison Margiela’s Replica Jazz Club and Diptyque’s Oud—*hint hint* if you want to give me a gift I’ll swoon over…)
Sharing beers and laughing with new friends in a dive bar
Stealing sleepy kisses under a duvet as a lover and I both wake up in the morning, then taking plenty of time in bed together before getting up to face the day
What about you? What are your happy places? Where do you feel most at peace, or most alive?
I hope I can create these kinds of moments with some of you sometime soon! In the meantime, what did you think of my first newsletter? What would you like to see in future ones?
xo,
Eden
